Refund Policy

1. Credit-Based Model
Hirebeam operates on a credit-based billing system. Credits are used to perform job research:
- Discovery phase: 10 credits — identifies hiring managers and decision-makers at a target company
- Enrichment phase: 10 credits — performs deep research on discovered prospects
- Full job research: 20 credits total (discovery + enrichment)
Credits come from two sources: subscription credits (included with paid plans) and purchased credits (bought via one-time credit packages).
2. Automatic Refunds
If a job research fails due to a platform error (e.g., AI processing failure, system error), the credits spent on that job are automatically refunded to your purchased credits wallet. No action is required on your part.
Automatic refunds apply to both discovery and enrichment phases. If discovery succeeds but enrichment fails, only the enrichment credits (10) are refunded.
3. Subscription Credits
- Subscription credits are included with Growth, Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans
- Credits reset at the start of each monthly billing cycle
- Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next billing period
- No refunds are issued for unused subscription credits
4. Purchased Credits
- Purchased credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase
- Purchased credits are non-refundable except in cases of platform error (see section 2)
- Purchased credits survive subscription cancellation — they remain in your account
- When both subscription and purchased credits are available, subscription credits are used first
5. Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription)
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to your plan through the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time in the current billing period
- Your purchased credits are preserved after cancellation
- Your account reverts to the free trial tier after the billing period ends
6. Free Trial
New accounts receive 100 free credits at no cost. No credit card is required. Since no payment is made for trial credits, no refund is applicable.
7. Billing Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, or if you have questions about your billing, please contact us at support@hirebeam.ai. We will investigate and resolve billing disputes within 5 business days.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, as we can typically resolve issues faster.
